Are you looking for a knitting project that will help feed your soul through the act of knitting, but also help others?  Texas Children’s Hospital is accepting knitted caps for neonatal and preemie needs.  We found this great pattern on the Hissy Stitch blog.  Using a sport weight or DK yarn and 5 to 6 stitches per inch you can make the “minie” size for neonatal and “meenie” size for preemies.  Of course the yarn should be soft and preferably washable.  Each month we collect all the hats you’ve brought in and take them to TCH where they are given to the babies and their parents.
